Job Description

Our facility is a FQHC that serves the counties of Webb, Zapata, and Jim Hogg. The service population for this Center has been designated as MUA and HPSA. Services in Webb County include medical (family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, OB/GYN, rheumatology, podiatry, general surgery, and nephrology), dental, minor behavioral health, and on-site pharmacy and laboratory. Most of these services are also provided in the Zapata and Jim Hogg county clinics.
In addition to the regular clinic hours, an urgent care clinic was initiated in 2005 to provide after hour and Saturday services.

Full-time Bilingual (Eng./Span.) Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide high quality, comprehensive inpatient and outpatient primary and preventative medical care services, including deliveries as well as pre- and post-natal care, for women in a warm and friendly community health setting. Must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a health oriented team composed of health professions from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients.

Graduation from an accredited medical school
Completion of approved post-graduate training
Current unrestricted Texas Medical license (will also accept Texas License that is pending, unlicensed residency student, or non-Texas Licensure with plans to license in Texas)
Must have current DEA and DPS registrations for the purpose of writing prescriptions
Current CPR certification
