Job Summary:

Join an expanding team of psychiatrists who are dedicated to Middlesex Hospital's mission to provide the safest, highest-quality health care and the best possible patient experience for our community.
This Full-time Consultation-Liaison position offers an exciting opportunity to work in collaboration with the medical and surgical services in the care of patients.
There are opportunities to pursue other interests such as Psycho-Oncology or Mental Health Integration into Primary Care.

Middlesex Hospital provides a full spectrum of mental health services including child & adolescent, intensive in-home services, inpatient, crisis/emergency services, adult outpatient, as well as intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs.

Our central Connecticut location offers a choice of beautiful communities with first rate schools. We are in easy travel distance to beaches and mountains, as well as both New York City and Boston.
There are opportunities to teach Middlesex Hospital Family Medicine Residents as well as medical students from Yale School of Medicine.

Minimum Requirements:

--Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible.
--Board certification in either Addiction Psychiatry or Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry/Psychosomatic Medicine is preferred but not required.
--Also must be dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and promoting a collegial work environment.
