Job Description

In Austin, Georgetown and Round Rock, TX: Lone Star Circle of Care is seeking experienced full-time Psychiatric Clinic physicians to provide preventive and primary medical care in a community health center setting. Staff Physician must be able to treat patients from a diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds and to work creatively as a member of a primary care medical team composed of health professions from a variety of disciplines for the healing and betterment of the center's patients. New hire will primarily treat all age ranges of OB/GYN patients. Position is full-time and comes with full benefits. Salary negotiable, BOE.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of approved post-graduate training, and an unrestricted Texas Medical license. 2-5 years of post-residency experience preferred; however, applicants with less experience will be considered. Must have current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) registrations for the purpose of writing prescriptions, as well as current BLS through American Heart Association. Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN Medicine. Prefer bilingual English/Spanish. EHR experience helpful (this center uses NextGen).
