Primary Care Physicians Needed

The Institute for Family Health is seeking primary care physicians to join their expanding network of community health centers throughout Manhattan, Bronx & the Hudson Valley Region. We have several openings offering flexible work schedules, with superb practice support from well trained nursing staff, comprehensive mental health staff on site, and diabetic educators on site. Opportunities for professional growth as residency faculty, or in clinical research & clinical leadership.

Our facilities are state of the art, including completely paperless electronic medical records using EPIC, the premier ambulatory electronic health record with patient access.

About the Institute for Family Health


The Institute for Family Health has been dedicated to providing services to medically underserved populations since 1983. We currently employ over 600 professionals, operate 16 full time and nine part time practice sites in four counties in New York State. We also train health professionals, run a number of innovative community health outreach programs, and advocate for policies that will improve the health of the communities we serve. Last year, our network of practices provided more than 225,000 visits to 80,000 patients, many of whom are uninsured, low-income, or live in areas with few health care providers who will serve them in other words, patients who, if not for our centers, may simply have gone without needed care.
