Outstanding Opportunity for Nurse Practitioner minutes north of Dayton, Ohio
Upper Valley Professional Corporation currently has openings available for full time; Ohio licensed and well qualified Nurse Practitioners with Ohio prescriptive authority, to work as Nocturnists in our Hospitalist Program at Upper Valley Medical Center.
Positions are 7 days on 7 days off, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Candidates must be self-motivated and have a proven ability to work effectively as a key contributor to the team. It is essential that applicants are able to work under minimal supervision in the assessment, planning and administration of patient care.
Applicants will have excellent oral and written communication skills; along with knowledge of electronic medical records (UVMC currently has EPIC EMR)
Applicant will show exceptional interpersonal skills with colleagues, physicians, patients and their families. The ability to effectively work both independently and collaboratively with physicians and other allied health personnel in the hospital will be essential.
Applicants must be nationally certified as an NP and will hold a Masters degree.
In addition to competitive salary and rich benefit package, compensation will include continuing education allowance, malpractice insurance and retirement benefits. A signing bonus will also be offered to qualified candidates. In addition, relocation assistance will also be offered.

Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) is a thriving, highly innovative, health care system located on a beautiful 130 acre campus which encompasses a state-of-the-art, 195-bed acute care hospital, a behavioral medicine hospital, two long term care facilities, five outpatient care centers and over 20 additional satellite facilities.
UVMC is located in Miami County, Ohio with a population of approximately 100,000. The acute care facility is located in Troy, directly off Interstate 75.
