The Clovis Clinic is designed to provide access to the medically underserved population of Clovis and its contiguous communities. At La Casa Family Health Center, we work with J1 and H1B Visas and welcome anyone to apply.


Clovis, Originally founded in 1907 and known as "Riley Switch", Clovis lies across one of the best known of the old Comanche trails. Before the coming of the white man, the nomadic Comanche used Clovis as a stopping point in the relentless pursuit of the buffalo. Today, visitors have it much easier with convenient access not only to some of the most exciting nearby attractions for sightseers but also to recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, mountain climbing and golf for the more active visitor. The population of this growing city is about 39,000 with most employed in one of the city's major industries-cattle ranching, government service, medical and wholesale trade. Clovis boasts a community college with a wide range of programs offered leading to degrees and certiciates in vocational and industrial areaas. A dry climate and low humidity offer year-round comfort. Clovis is about seven miles east of Cannon Air Force Base.
