Inpatient/Outpatient General Dermatology

Job Description

Lahey Healths Department of Dermatology is seeking a dermatologist with interest and experience inpatient consultations. The position will be structured between inpatient and outpatient dermatology depending on building a volume of inpatient activities. Outpatient activities will be in our dermatology department site on Wall Street in Burlington MA and inpatient consultations at the neighboring main campus on Mall Rd. Lahey Hospital and Medical Center has 317 beds and serves as a tertiary center for hospitals north and east of Boston increasing the medical acuity of admissions in Burlington in its specialized care units. The Lahey dermatology practice consists of twelve Physicians and five Nurse

Practitioners with sites in Burlington, Lexington, and Peabody. Within our three sites, we offer phototherapy, Mohs surgery, and laser and cosmetic procedures. We have an active teaching component; including dermatology residents from Harvard Medical School, a Mohs surgery fellow, Lahey Clinic internal medicine residents, Tufts medical students and our departments fellowship program for Nurse Practitioner Specialists in Dermatology.
