Job Description

The Department of Family Medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center is a dynamic progressive organization improving quality of life one patient at a time in the under-served disenfranchised community of the South Bronx. The Department is happy to announce an open position for a Family Medicine Physician.

The Physician has an opportunity to join our network of five outpatient clinics, who serve over 14,000 unique patients, completing over 75,000 visits per year, in the South Bronx and surrounding areas. If a physician is interested completing some work within the Inpatient setting, there is an opportunity to work on one of the three Inpatient floors managed by the Department of Family Medicine. Our Department also boasts a residency program, offering the opportunity for Faculty to precept residents as well as teach medical students on a daily basis. Throughout our five clinics we also offer a variety of specialty and procedural clinics, including transgender clinic, colonoscopy, spirometry, acupuncture, pain management, prenatal and others. Providers are encouraged to pursue their individual interests regarding specialties and research. Our Department also has on staff nutritionists, dietitians, and behavioral scientists who contribute, along with our physicians, to ensure our patients receive holistic optimal care.
