Job Description

Permanent Full-Time Clinical Director (Administrator Medical Officer) for the Fort Yuma, Arizona is seeking experienced Administrator physicians with an innovative spirit to improve the health status of our Native American population. The Cocopah and Quechan tribes are the two distinct tribes that are served at Fort Yuma. The Quechan Reservation consists of 45,814 desert acres along the Colorado River in Californias Imperial County, just outside Yuma. The Cocopah Reservation is comprised of 1,772 acres near Somerton, AZ, a small town south-west of Yuma.


Duties
Participate in the formulation of policies, programs, and procedures related to the delivery of clinical services.
Maintain systems for monitoring quality assessment, AAAHC accreditation, fiscal management, GPRA performance, Medicare, and IHS standards.
Analyze operational data, inform staff of key objectives, and provide qualified advice as a basis for program decisions
Assist in setting priorities for services and patient care objectives.
Collaborates with department heads to foster and coordinate working relationships
Only 1 license/50 states needed at Federal Facilities
