Cerner Health Connections is currently seeking a Family Medicine Physician for our Health Center located in downtown Kansas City, MO. This 15,000 square foot health center provides Primary Care services for the associates and their spouses of Children's Mercy Hospital. Serving approximately 11,000 lives, our physicians provide general health care, wellness services and urgent care in a state-of-the-art medical clinic. This clinic is an innovative personal health management clinic that provides primary and preventive care services. With the clinic's proactive, educative approach, patients are motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles and practices. Focused on wellness, this clinic will be unlike any other medical practice or corporate clinic. We will be seeking recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home in the upcoming year. The health center uses the Cerner electronic medical record.
Cerner has an immediate need for an experienced Family Medicine Physician to care for adult patients.
As the Clinic Physician you will:
Promote good health and prevention of illness
Working relationship and collaboration with other health-care workers, including Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and/or Medical Assistants
Direct patient care
Treat serious, chronic and complex illnesses as well as occupational injuries
Perform office based procedures and testing

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a medical program, at an accredited academic institution, whose graduates are eligible for licensure to practice
Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
Have not been censured or forced to relinquish license due to impropriety
Board certified in Family Medicine
Current licensure in Missouri (additional Kansas license preferred)
Ability to work in a team environment to deliver quality patient care
Currently residing or willing to relocate to Kansas City
5 to 10 years work experience in Family Medicine (or possibly Internal Medicine) practice or clinic
EMR experience (Cerner experience preferred)
