The Department of Family Medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center is a dynamic progressive organization improving quality of life in the Bronx, one patient at a time in the under-served disenfranchised community of the South Bronx. The Department is happy to announce an open position for a Psychiatrist.

The Psychiatrist has an opportunity to join our network of five outpatient clinics, who serve over 14,000 unique patients, completing over 75,000 visits per year, in the South Bronx and surrounding areas. The Psychiatrist will be involved in direct patient care in our outpatient services combined with teaching and precepting Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students. Throughout our five clinics we also offer a variety of specialty and procedural clinics, including transgender clinic, colonoscopy, spirometry, acupuncture, pain management, prenatal and others. If interested, the Psychiatrist will find within the Department robust opportunity and encouragement to pursue their special areas of interest.

Applicants should have unrestricted license, 3-5 years experience, solid references, a positive demeanor and an interest to improve healthcare in the Bronx.
