We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Hamilton Memorial Hospital District located in McLeansboro, Illinois.The physician who takes advantage of this Emergency Medicine opportunity will enjoy competitive compensation, local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, complimentary online CME and freedom from non-competes. The Medical Director's compensation package includes a substantial monthly stipend.Hamilton Memorial Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital. Founded in 1960, this 25-bed hospital offers an array of programs and services, including respiratory and physical therapy, radiology, social service, an on-site laboratory, and more. The hospital has plans for an $18.5 million expansion, which would include a completely new emergency department, surgical suite, and family clinic, plus additions and renovations to the hospital's laboratory, radiology, and rehab therapy departments.* Physician candidate will fulfill a dual ED/hospitalist role* Must be residency-trained in EM or FP/IM with emergency experience* $120 hourly, plus $10 hourly incentive* 12- and 24-hour shifts* 6,500 annual volume ED* Single-physician coverageAll physicians are partners of River2 Emergency Physicians, LLP, a registered limited liability partnership. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates. Physicians have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan, as well as life and disability insurance at group rates.
