Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Willow Creek Women's Hospital located in Johnson, Arkansas.The physician who takes advantage of this Emergency Medicine opportunity will enjoy competitive compensation, local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, complimentary online CME and freedom from non-competes. The Medical Director's compensation package includes a substantial monthly stipend.Willow Creek Women's Hospital is part of Northwest Health System. The 64-bed full-service facility, which is dedicated to women's health needs, offers a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancies, and services like menopause management, gynecologic oncology, and cosmetic or reconstructive surgery. The hospital averages 3,500 admissions, with an annual ED volume of about 6,000. Like all EDs in the Northwest Health System, Willow Creek strives to honor a 30-minutes-or-less service pledge so that its clinical professionals see patients within 30 minutes of their check-in at the ED desk.Surrounded by valleys and natural springs, the quaint town of Johnson, Ark., has a population of just over 3,300 people. Its location between Fayetteville and Springdale brings it in touch with a larger metropolitan area of more than 463,000 people. Known for world-class trout fishing and limestone caverns, Johnson draws plenty of tourists to its scenic rivers, lakes, and hiking trails.All physicians are partners of South Arkansas Emergency Physicians, LLP,a registered limited liability partnership. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates. Physicians have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan, as well as life and disability insurance at group rates. Candidates must be board-eligible in Emergency Medicine or a Primary Care Specialty with Emergency Medicine experience.Emergency Consultants is an ECI Healthcare Partner providing management and administrative support to limited liability partnership clients.
