Its main facility, Fayette Regional Hospital, contains surgical care; cancer care; acute rehabilitation; a facial plastics center; diagnostic imaging, with the area's largest and fastest MRI; the Women's Center; the Heart Care Center, which is coordinated with the St. Vincent Heart Care Center of Indiana; emergency care; and many other facilities and services.Fayette Regional's ED sees approximately 16,000 patients annually. Staffed with qualified physicians and nurses, FRHS' emergency team employs state-of-the-art equipment, on-site laboratory facilities, diagnostic imaging services, and the use of air ambulance service.Named for trader John Conner, who laid out the town of Connersville in the Whitewater Valley in 1813, Connersville is located about an hour from three major metropolitan areas: Dayton, Indianapolis and Cincinnati. Its location on the banks of the White River affords residents excellent fishing, canoeing, and rafting opportunities, as well as camping and many other outdoor activities. In addition to some of the finest parks in the state and the Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary, Connersville is home to numerous museums, historical landmarks, and local cultural events.All physicians are partners of Indiana Emergency Physicians, LLP, a registered limited liability partnership. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates.Physicians have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan, as well as life anddisability insurance at group rates.
