We are currently seeking qualified, full-time Physicians for the Emergency Department at Freeman Health Systems - Freeman Neosho Hospital - Neosho, MO located in Neosho, Missouri.Physicians who take advantage of this Emergency Medicine opportunity will enjoy competitive compensation, local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, complimentary online CME and freedom from non-competes.Freeman Neosho Hospital boasts one of the busiest emergency departments among Missouri's critical access hospitals, serving 18,319 patients in 2011. In response to its ED's increasing annual patient count, Freeman Neosho expanded its ED from six beds to nine in 2012. Of the rooms added, one is a fast-track unit; the remaining additional rooms are for critically ill or injured trauma patients. As a result of the recent expansion, Freeman Neosho is raising its ED's clinical staff total to five physicians, two physician assistants, two nurse practitioners, and 25 nurses. EagleMed air ambulance and Freeman Ambulance Service provide emergency transport services to and from Freeman Neosho.Based in Neosho, Mo., Freeman Neosho Hospital is part of the Freeman Health System, the area's only locally owned, not-for-profit health system. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates. Physicians have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan, as well as life and disability insurance at group rates.
