We are currently seeking qualified full-time Emergency Physicians for the Emergency Department at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital, located in La Porte, Indiana. The renovated 12-bed Emergency Department provides emergency care to over 22,000 patients annually.Physicians who takes advantage of this Emergency Medicine opportunity will enjoy competitive compensation, local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, complimentary online CME and freedom from non-competes.Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital, a regional acute care facility provides healthcare services to the residents of northern Indiana and southern Michigan. Included in its 227 private rooms is a 12-bed Critical Care Unit. The hospital now staffs over 100 physicians engaged in primary medical care specialties. Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital earned The Joint Commissions Gold Seal of Approval in 2008 by demonstrating compliance with the highest national standards for healthcare quality and safety. It is also the first and only primary stroke center in northwest Indiana.La Porte, a community of 30,000 people, is located 70 miles from downtown Chicago, 15 miles from the beaches of Lake Michigan, and 30 minutes from Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates. Physicians have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan, as well as life and disability insurance at group rates.
