We are currently seeking qualified full-time Emergency Physicians for the Emergency Department at Kent General Hospital located in Dover, Delaware. The Kent General Emergency Department has 21-beds and sees over 50,000 patients each year. The Emergency Department is a designated Level III Trauma Center and utilizes a Fast Track for non-urgent cases.Physicians who take advantage of these Emergency Medicine job opportunities will enjoy local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, free online CME and freedom from non-competes.Milford Memorial Hospital and Kent General Hospital merged in January 1997 to form Bayhealth Medical Center - a not-for-profit healthcare organization. This is the second largest healthcare system in the state of Delaware with over 2,700 employees and 350 physicians. Kent General Hospital is a 231-bed, not-for-profit medical facility that was founded in 1927. It offers services that range from a Cancer Center to a Sleep Disorder Center to Home Care services. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates.
