We are currently seeking qualified, full-time Emergency Physicians for the Emergency Department at Norton Community Hospital located in Norton, VA. Norton Community Hospital Emergency Department provides emergency care to over 19,000 patients annually.Physicians who take advantage of these Emergency Medicine job opportunities will enjoy local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, free online CME and freedom from non-competes.Norton Community Hospital (NCH) is an Appalachian-area facility that provides unequivocal healthcare services to the residents of Norton Virginia, as well as other communities throughout Southwest Virginia and Southeast Kentucky areas. Established in 1949, NCH is the region's largest facility; this acute care hospital includes 129 beds. NCH also operates several primary care clinics throughout the region. It was Virginia's first AOA-accredited teaching facility and is utilized by internal medicine residents. The hospital's 24-hour laboratory offers extensive services, including hematology, serology, microbiology, and more.Beautiful fall foliage, snowy winter scenery, and sparkling lakes and streams make Norton, Virginia, a beautiful place to call home any time of year. An excellent compensation package is offered to part-time and full-time physicians. Physicians are eligible for health, life, disability, optical, and dental insurance through payroll deduction. Malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage or on an occurrence basis is provided.
