Job Description
We are currently seeking qualified, full-time Emergency Physicians for the Emergency Department at Smyrna-Clayton Medical Services located in Smyrna, Delaware.Smyrna-Clayton Medical Services is a 40,000 square foot facility that provides the latest diagnostic tools including CT scan, open MRI, ultrasound and general x-ray and lab services.Physicians who takes advantage of this Emergency Medicine opportunity will enjoy competitive compensation, local physician leadership, flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, complimentary online CME and freedom from non-competes.All physicians are partners with DelMarva Emergency Physicians, LLP, a registered limited liability partnership. An excellent compensation package is offered to both full-time and part-time physicians. Physician partners have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting. Additionally, physician partners are eligible for health, life, disability, optical and dental insurance through payroll deduction. Malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage or on an occurrence basis is provided as well.This brand new emergency department, open Fall of 2012 will feature a staff of 20 nurses and other clinical personnel to augment a rotating team of physicians. Rapid triage will be used to ensure that patients are treated efficiently and effectively. The staff at Smyrna-Clayton Medical Services pride themselves on putting the patient's needs first. Smyrna-Clayton Medical Services is also home to Family Medicine of Smyrna, Cardiology Consultants, Asthma Allergy Care of Delaware, Central Delaware Gastroenterology, Kent Pulmonary Associates and Delaware Cardiovascular Associates.Smyrna, DE is located just 12 miles north of Dover, the state capital, and 30 miles south of major business centers in Newark and Wilmington.
