Job Description
The board eligible/certified physician is responsible for the clinical care of adult patients presenting to Neighborhood Health Services Corporation. The physician is responsible for admissions to the medical center during on call duties and for hospital follow up of patients as assigned. The physician completes accurate, legible, orderly entries at each contact with a patient at the Health Center and participates in Quality Assurance activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Diagnosis and treatment plans related to the clinical care of adult patients. Ensure accurate chart documentation, flow sheet completion and preventive medicine schedules.
Provide in-hospital care in the form of attending rounds for Health Center patients.
Participate in Quality Assurance activities including chart reviews, attendance of staff meetings and annual CME conferences.

Additional Information
Graduate of a certified US Medical school or graduate of a foreign Medical school with passing grade on the USMLE. Completion of ABIM approved internal medicine residency program with board eligible or board certified status.
New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners current license to practice medicine as a DO or MD. Board eligible status or board certification in Internal Medicine.
Experience in community health is desired
May be hired directly out of residency program
Spanish fluency is desirable.
Good written and oral communication skills
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong customer service orientation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
