Personnel Technician - Human Resources
To provide patient care with the knowledge and skill expected in the professional medical community. Required to work (as scheduled) but no more than 29 hours per week to fulfill responsibilities. Provide comprehensive primary pediatric care to a panel of patients. Provide emergency screening and stabilization of acute patients. Act as back up for other physicians, for their pediatric patients. Provides Neonatal care for all newborns at hospital daily. Meets with pregnant
patients at CHI weekly on same day as OB visits starting at 36th weeks of gestation. Attend in-service and administrative meetings pertinent to the job. Act as a facilitator between patients and consultants. Provide in-service for other medical staff. Provide patient services beyond the visit by following up on tests. Supervise Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant when needed. Follow guidelines for provider productivity as established for CHCs in Performance measures (4,200 to 6,000 encounters per FTE physician, 2,100 to 3,000 for mid-level practitioners per year). Adheres to Confidentiality Policies and Procedures / HIPPA Regulations. Must attend at least four (4) Grand
Rounds each year. And other duties as assigned.
