Site Description:
Newburn Clinic
The Newburn Clinic is collocated with the Women's Center at 248 Cox Street, Mobile, Al 36604 and approximately 2 miles from the main site in downtown Mobile. It is located across the street from the University of South Alabama Children and Women's hospital. It serves as an emergency room diversion. It was recently upgraded with a $150,000 new access point award in 2010 equipped with 6 exam rooms and houses a point of care waived laboratory on site. The primary focus is on children and women at the site. The staffing model calls for a full-time pediatrician and part-time midlevel provider.
