Full Time Emergency Medicine

14 twelve hour shifts per month (168 hours)
Annual bonus opportunity
Flexible staffing patterns
Average 62 patients per day
Mid-level support and double support during peak times.
New Emergency Department under construction with completion in late 2015.

We have Emergency Medicine Physician opportunities in Fort Dodge that will continue to be available in the future. We are always looking for ED physicians and are eager to sign agreements before or during the final year of residency and offer the possibility of stipends for those who do sign.

We have
A very diverse, high quality, and extremely friendly medical staff that is very supportive of the Emergency
Department and care about physician success.
Currently the only rural health system to work within a new model to improve patient care and reduce cost, the
ACO Model.
Are a level 3 trauma center, you can expect to see roughly 60 patients a day with assistance from a midlevel.
In process of building a brand new state of the art Emergency Department.
Are seeking a physician to fill the role of Assistant Medical Director. This position would mentor with the current
director, who would be phasing out in the next few years.

A community of 28,000 but we draw from a rural area of 160,000 which means we have a medical center and
retail community rivaling those much larger.
