Job Description

Regional Health is seeking a BE/BC FM physician to join four others at a well-established Family Medicine practice in Custer, SD. This is an Outpatient/Hospitalist/ED opportunity where the ambulatory clinic practice includes scheduled clinic as well as rotation through an urgent care clinic in the same facility. Physicians also participate in the Hospital/ED call rotation (will be 1:6) at Custer Regional Hospital and share in the admission and care of nursing home patients admitted to the long term care facility.

This combined opportunity offers a very competitive base salary, a starting bonus, retention bonus ($100,0000 paid out over 5 years), paid relocation ($7,500) and moving allowance, paid malpractice, startup and ongoing marketing, CME reimbursement and a comprehensive basic and exclusive physician supplemental benefits package is also offered.

Custer Regional Hospital is an 11-bed critical access hospital that oversees a 76-bed long-term care facility and a 16-bed assisted living center on campus. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency service, inpatient and outpatient care, and hospice.
