Less than an hour from downtown Chicago, Palos Medical Group (PMG) is offering an opportunity for a highly qualified endocrinologist to work with our multispecialty group.

Position Highlights:
Palos Community Hospital has been named an Americas 50 Best by Healthgrades, which puts Palos in the top 1 percent of hospitals nationwide in 2014.

We are looking to expand the current group of Endocrinologists located in the Palos Primary Care Center in Orland Park.

A new physician will join an experienced team of two physicians and CDE (Certified Dietician Educator) and be supported by an experienced director and staff.

Description:

Full-time position for an endocrinologist willing to provide outpatient as well as some inpatient care.

Qualifications:

Currently licensed, BC or BE physician in Illinois
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with all members of the health care team, patients and families
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to provide consults in the hospital and build relationships with referring physicians to build a thriving outpatient practice
Promote evidenced-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served
High degree of concentration and self-motivation to make independent clinical decisions
Able to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through consistent evidenced-based medicine
