Job Description

Regional Health Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Child/Adolescent or Adult Psychiatrist to provide both inpatient and outpatient services at our Behavioral Health Center. Our Center is a 44-bed psychiatric hospital that offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services for geriatric, adult, adolescent and child patients, with an approach to patient care based on a biological, psychological and social model. This is the only behavioral inpatient facility within approximately 400 miles and averages 200 admissions/month.

A full complement of services are provided by licensed and board-certified psychiatrists, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, chemical dependency specialists and professional nursing staff. Outpatient services include psychiatric diagnostic interviewing and medication management for patients of all ages. Specialized inpatient services include group and individual therapy, diagnostic testings, psychological evaluations and family therapy. A private waiting room for each physicians' patients and office reception staff is provided.

Outpatient hours of operation are 8am-5pm. Inpatient Call is rotated amongst providers.

A very competitive salary with production bonus incentives is offered along with a 10% starting bonus, $100,000 retention bonus (paid out over 5 years), $7,500 paid relocation stipend AND moving allowance, paid malpractice, CME reimbursement, and a comprehensive basic PLUS exclusive physician benefits package.
