Pediatric Hospitalist Position

Job Description

The MetroHealth System, in affiliation with Case Western Reserve University Medical School, is seeking a qualified BC/ BE pediatrician, at the Assistant Professor level, to join our pediatric hospitalist program. Our Pediatric Inpatient unit is a 20 bed unit, separate from a 10 bed PICU and a 45 bed NICU.
Subspecialty consult is available in almost all disciplines. Activity includes caring for sick children, and well newborns when needed. Resident coverage is available 24/7 on the regular pediatric ward. The department of pediatrics serves a large base of ambulatory pediatric practice supported with an array of subspecialty services. This position is an academic position, with expected resident and medical student education. Interest in clinical research is desired and will be supported.
