The Peace Corps, the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and Seed Global Health launched the Global Health Service Partnership (GHSP), a program that aims to improve clinical education, expand the base of physician and nursing educators and build healthcare capacity in countries that face critical shortages of healthcare providers. Departure will be in summer 2016.
Mandatory Qualifications:
BSN with a MPH, MSN, APRN, DNP, PhD, or CNM
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical specialty
Active license in the United States
Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills
Experience providing culturally sensitive and competent high quality care
Evidence of personal maturity and patience to work under challenging clinical circumstances including flexibility in adapting to local circumstances and constraints
Please note: Applicants will be required to meet licensing criteria and obtain appropriate clinical licenses in the host country
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in a faculty, teaching or mentoring position in a classroom/clinical setting
Previous experience working in a developing or resource-limited setting
