Job Description

Eastland Memorial Hospital, in Eastland,Texas, is looking for a Primary Care Physician to support its growing demand for medical services.

The position is a traditional practice opportunity, including both inpatient and outpatient services as well as taking 76 to 7days of call per month. There is significant growth opportunity. Additionally there is a plan to develop a Sports Medicine program for area schools and 2 area colleges.

Compensation package includes an income guarantee that approaches $200,000.00 with additional funding for practice development and management. Other benefits include a sign-on bonus and moving expenses. Additionally, as the area has been designated a Medically Underserved Area, the position is eligible for a government sponsored student loan forgiveness plan.

Eastland Memorial is a 52 bed facility with a Level IV Trauma center. It continues to improve and expand its programs and services. Recently this has included the development of a state-of-the-art Wellness Center with a Rehab Program component. The new Wellness Center has created the opportunity for development of the Sports Medicine Program.
Eastland has been an important and cherished part of the community for decades.

Eastland, Texas is the county seat of Eastland County and is located on I-20 about 1.5 hours from DFW and an hour from Abilene. Eastland has a dynamic economy that has a strong agricultural base as well as a growing commercial base.
