Faculty Position: Director, Gynecologic Ultrasonography

Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for the position of Director of Gynecologic Ultrasonography.

The Department offers gynecologic services at 12 sites across the MetroHealth System, and currently offers gynecologic ultrasound services at two sites. We are seeking an academically oriented obstetrician-gynecologist who will develop an Ob/Gyn practice, provide leadership in and growth of our gynecologic ultrasound practice, and coordinate training of our Ob/Gyn Residents and Case Western Reserve University Medical students in this area.

Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal, clinical and teaching skills, should be board certified or eligible for certification in General Obstetrics & Gynecology, and meet American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) criteria of a Qualified Physician for female pelvic ultrasound. It is anticipated that successful candidates will meet qualifications for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University. The salary is competitive - Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
