OUTPATIENT INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
(100% Ambulatory Full Scope Primary Care)
San Francisco Bay Area

Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is seeking BC/BE Internists. We are an integrated public hospital & clinic system with a Family Medicine Residency Program in Contra Costa County, California.

Flexible, benefitted schedules available
No call
New hospital & clinic facilities serve the needs of ethnically and culturally diverse populations
Supported by a team consisting of an LVN panel manager, a care coordinator (clerk level) and an MA
Paid administrative time 2-8 hours a week based on number of primary care clinics and benefitted hours
Paid phone clinics to help manage patient care
Opportunities to be involved in resident teaching in our highly regarded Family Medicine Residency Program
Unique staff development program that may be used to pursue an interest in a specialty or reacquire a skill or proficiency (i.e. subspecialty care or procedures)
Opportunity to staff Internal Medicine Consult Clinics providing support to Family Practice physicians in our system
Unique opportunity to participate in a rotating faculty hospitalist service to maintain inpatient skills
Short drive to Berkeley, Oakland or San Francisco, 1 hour to the Napa Valley wine country and 2 hours to skiing.
Compensation package includes complete malpractice coverage (no tail required), 5.5 weeks of vacation after 6 years and 1 week of paid CME after 1 year
Favorable HPSA score of 17 for NHSC loan repayment programs
