A privately owned, expanding behavioral health practice offering outpatient psychiatry in 6 locations across Chicago and surrounding cities.10 psychiatrists and 5 nurse practitioners of diverse specialties are assisted in patient treatment by 26 full time therapists.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Positions
Full time, permanent, outpatient psychiatry job with flexible hours to encourage a healthy work/life balance. IPD is seeking a new nurse practitioner for each location currently.

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities APNs create their own practice according to their clinical interests.
Psychiatric evaluations
Medication management, and/or
Psychotherapy, and/or
Patient education
Call rotation ~~Every 8th weekend (That's it!)
After-hours answering service with high-tech paging system
Schedule 1-4 encounters per hour depending on clinical preference of Nurse Practitioner.

Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements--
Current State of Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse, APN, and
IL Controlled Substance License, DEA License in good standing, or able to obtain one.
IPD staff will handle any credentialing needed before start date.

Nurse Practitioner Preferences
U.S. graduate of an Accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program
National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
