Invasive, Non-interventional Cardiologist or General Cardiologist

IU Health Goshen Hospital, Goshen, IN: Indiana University Health Goshen has a unique opportunity for an invasive non-interventional cardiologist or general cardiologist who is either board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular disease, echocardiology, and nuclear cardiology. The cardiology department currently has one invasive non-interventional cardiologist and two interventional cardiologists, one of whom is near retirement and therefore recruiting a full time interventional cardiologist as well. The cardiologists work collaboratively in an integrated multidisciplinary approach with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and a neurologist. The clinic has an open design with 18 exam rooms arranged around 'pods' where physicians discuss and plan the multispecialty treatment care for patients. The cardiologists see an average of 18-20 patients per office day and are currently in the office half day either in the morning or in the afternoon every day of the week. The three cardiologists share general rounds, consults, and call while the two interventional cardiologists share STEMI call. The Heart and Vascular Service Line is one of the hospitals 2 highest strategic priorities.  The administration has been and continues to be dedicated to growing this service line and offering patients care in their home town, in state of the art facilities.  Compensation is salaried with bonus potential.
