Authorized to operate 187 beds, the Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System(EOVAHCS) currently operates 110 hospital beds and an outpatient clinic in a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 1998. Academic affiliations include the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and the Oklahoma State University College of Medicine.

The Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System is recruiting for both a full time and a part time Board Certified/Eligible Physiatrist with advanced clinical experience and demonstrated administrativeskills to serve as a Staff Physician within our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service (PM&RS).

As a staff physician the incumbent will report to the Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In partnership with the PM&R administrator providing medical direction for the Inpatient Rehab unit and establishing Major Medical and SCI clinics. Incumbent is also responsible for assisting in the medical education of Residents and Fellows. This position works in collaboration with the Program Director of the Pain Program, Program Director of the Polytrauma Team and the Rehabilitation Team under the oversight of the Chief of the PM&R Service and the Chief of Primary Care to provide a continuum of rehabilitation services for the Muskogee VAMC.
