Job Description

Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (SIU SOM) in Springfield, IL seeks faculty family medicine physicians to join their Department of Family and Community Medicine. SIU SOM has openings in Carbondale, Decatur and Quincy. Each location has a family medicine residency program with 5-6 residents graduating each year. Fellowship trained family medicine physicians are encouraged to apply. All locations will support obstetrics and/or a specialty niche.

SIU SOM offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits (including 25 vacation days, 43 sick days and 13 paid holidays). SIU is also offering a signing bonus and paid relocation expenses. Loan repayment available through the National Health Service Corp loan repayment program. The Quincy location is also offering up to $100,000 in loan repayment from hospital support.
