BE/BC Sleep Medicine Physician

Job Description

SBH Health System is recruiting a BE/BC sleep medicine physician to join our dynamic and growing medical and pulmonary practice in a faculty role. The faculty position will include the evaluation and management of pediatric and adult sleep medicine disorders with responsibilities for patient care, interpretation of sleep studies, and resident and medical student teaching. Opportunities to practice pulmonary medicine, in addition to sleep medicine, is encouraged as is clinical research.

SBH Health System, affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the new CUNY School of Medicine, is a 400 bed teaching hospital located in the Little Italy section of the Bronx (adjacent to Fordham University, the Bronx Zoo and Botanical Garden) with an extensive ambulatory network and new clinical leadership in numerous important positions.

Candidates for this position should be committed to delivering high quality care to an underserved population, and leading quality improvement initiatives. Academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and/or CUNY School of Medicine is commensurate with credentials and experience.

Candidates must be BC/BE with a New York State license and current DEA. Experience in a teaching role is highly desirable.
