Family Practice Opportunities in Rural Oregon

Job Description

Patient centered care in rural family practice clinics is a growing need in the United States. St. Charles Health System, located in beautiful Central Oregon, is recruiting two Family Practice Providers to join our already stellar team in the community of Madras. This position is a traditional primary care model with both in and out patient services and could include obstetrical care. The care team at the practice, located on the St. Charles Madras Hospital campus, includes physicians and behavioral health consultants.

Located 45 minutes from Bend and two hours from Portland, Madras is a diverse community with an economy dependent on farming and manufacturing enterprises. Business opportunity abounds with projected population and employment growth that is expected to be among the fastest in Oregon for much of the next decade.

Requirements:
- American board certified or board qualified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBP)
- If Obstetrical privileges are requested, candidate must demonstrate competence and evidence of management of normal term pregnancies and vaginal deliveries within the past 12 months
- ACLS, PALS and NRP certification
