SBH Health System a 400 + bed Acute Care Hospital and Trauma 1 Center in Bronx, NY seeks Internal Medicine Physicians/PCPs to join the team. SBH Health System is an academic health system with over 90 internal medicine residents affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. We also have medical students affiliated with the new CUNY School of Medicine. We operate FQHC primary care sites, resident clinics, faculty practice sites at multiple locations and physicians are eligible for loan forgiveness as part of National Health Service Corp designation.

We are seeking, highly motivated BE/BC a Director of Pediatric for our Emergency Department. This position includes clinical, administrative and teaching responsibilities. St. Barnabas Hospital is the primary teaching hospital of CUNYs Sophie Davis Medical School, and is also affiliated with Albert Einstein and NYCOM. The Pediatric Emergency Department operates as a Section of the Department of Emergency Medicine and also works closely with the Department of Pediatrics and trains both Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Residents. We are home to a 4 year Emergency Medicine residency program with over 60 residents.
The ideal candidate should be Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship trained with an established record of academic and clinical achievement and also possess a current New York State license to practice as a physician. Current DEA is required.
