Job Description

SBH Health System delivers a full continuum of services for people of all ages.
St. Barnabas Hospital is a 461 bed acute care hospital and State-designated Level I Trauma Center. SBH is affiliated with the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. The department of psychiatry encompasses 49 adult acute inpatient beds and a large consultation-liaison. The newly accredited ACGME residency program provides the opportunity to train and teach future psychiatrists.
SBH also operates a comprehensive outpatient facility that serves Bronx residents from three centers and in three public schools.

We are seeking Psychiatrists for Inpatient, Consultation-Liaison and Outpatient services.

The Attending Psychiatrist is responsible for the provision of compassionate and evidenced-based direct care to patients and for the supervision of students, social workers, nurses and other team members involved in the clinical care of patients.

Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications
Outpatient Clinics are NHSC-approved sites.

Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist
Forensics and substance abuse specialized training is a plus
Spanish fluency is a plus
Current NYS license
Current DEA
