Job Description

We are currently seeking qualified Hospitalist Intensivist physicians for OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, located in Mansfield, Ohio. Hospitalist Physicians who take advantage of these job opportunities will enjoy flexible scheduling, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, physician-friendly agreements and freedom from non-competes. Mansfield Hospital is a 326-bed general acute care facility that has been providing superior healthcare services to North Central Ohio for nearly 100 years. It provides top-quality care to nearly 400,000 patients in six surrounding counties. Residents have access to a wide range of services, including intensive care for heart attack patients, open heart surgery, angioplasty, and heart catheterizations. Mansfield Hospital also offers neurological and sophisticated diagnostic testing, with MRI and spiral CT scanning available 24/7. Each year, the hospital performs more than 8,000 surgical procedures and delivers nearly 1,300 babies. The hospitalist program at MedCentral Health System - Mansfield Hospital will consist of twelve hospitalists, two intensivists and eight physician assistants and or nurse practitioners. The group will have an average daily census of 125. The ICU has a total of 30 beds, with the group responsible for 20 beds: 10 surgical ICU (SICU) and 10 coronary care (CCU).
