We are currently seeking qualified Hospitalist physicians for Johnston Memorial Hospital, located in Abingdon, Virginia. Johnston Memorial Hospital (JMH) services the Abingdon, Va., area. The facility is part of the 14-hospital Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) healthcare system. It is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certified hospital in southwest Virginia. The not-for-profit, 116-bed medical facility offers a variety of medical services including outpatient and inpatient surgical care. Abingdon, Va., is a charming, historic town surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. Abingdon is less than three hours from larger cities like Asheville, N.C., Charleston W.Va., Knoxville, Tenn., and Roanoke, Va. The area has a strong school system and is located near several colleges and universities, including King University, Emory & Henry College, and East Tennessee State University.
