Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and its 11 health centers are part of a comprehensive county health system in the San Francisco Bay Area that serves primarily Medi-Cal patients. CCRMC was recently recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the busiest hospitals in the area, with nearly 43,700 patient days in 2014 and a 99.7% occupancy rate for its staffed beds. We have a full-spectrum Emergency Department and 86 acute care hospital beds, including 8 ICU and 10 step-down beds. CCRMC is nationally recognized for its excellent Family Medicine Residency, cancer program and visitor "welcoming policy."



We are currently seeking a full-time Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to do outpatient pulmonary clinic, inpatient pulmonary consultations and inpatient ICU coverage.



Candidates will have MD or DO and be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.



General Info:





- 1 week per month of ICU coverage, including weekends and holidays

- 2 weeks of pulmonary inpatient hospital coverage per month: Monday-Friday, 4 hours per day

- Pulmonary outpatient clinic, 8+ hours/week
