Internal Medicine physician needed to join an established, hospital-owned and managed practice.

To continue meeting the needs of our rapidly-growing patient population, Geary Community Hospital, in Junction City, KS is searching for a full-time Internal medicine physician to join an established, hospital-owned and managed practice. This progressive practice is located on the hospital campus and has both clinical and inpatient responsibilities.

This practice would feature a 1:4 call, does not have OB responsibilities, and would possibly supervise a mid-level practitioner.

Geary Community Hospital enjoys strong community support and opened a 110,000 sq ft expansion in 2009 featuring a new surgery center, ICU and 36 private-bed med/surg/peds unit.

Qualifications:
MD or DO
Board Certified/Eligible
Excellent English skills (verbal and written)
Kansas License
Clear Background Check

Junction City is a tree-lined community in the beautiful Flint Hills of northeast Kansas with a population of 24,000 people and a service area population of 40,000 (not including the military and their dependents on Ft. With over 15,000 surface acres of water and 163 miles of shoreline, Milford Lake is the state's largest lake and offers many diverse recreational opportunities including camping, cabin rental, marinas, boating, swimming, fishing, playgrounds, hunting, hiking, wildlife watching, off-road vehicle trails, bicycle trails (including mountain biking), etc. It has hosted several of the nation's most prestigious fishing tournaments.
