Job Description
Overview
Arnot Health, in association with the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) Department of Neurosciences, is recruiting for two neurohospitalists to provide care at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY and a third neurologist to assume a regional outpatient practice serving the patients of the Twin Tiers region of Upstate NY and Northeastern PA. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join URMCs regional multispecialty Neuromedicine program (Southern Tier Neuromedicine) based in Elmira, New York and will join a team of URMC Neuromedicine faculty (Neurology & Neurosurgery) who are working collaboratively with Arnot Health to develop an outstanding inpatient and outpatient program to serve patients in the region. The Neurosciences Department is committed to providing comprehensive care for brain and spine disorders, traumatic injuries, lower back disorders and other neurological diseases. Providing a range of diagnostic options, treatment capabilities and a level of skilled, specialty care unavailable elsewhere in the region, these positions offer a M-F schedule with one weekend call per month. No evening or night call required. Arnot Health is also affiliated with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and accredited by the American Osteopathic Association. Faculty positions at AOMC and URMC are available. Candidates with a passion for teaching are of special interest.
