TheNorthwell Health Katz Institute for Womens Health strives to be a leader in the delivery of comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services with the goal of partnering with women to take better care of themselves and their families.



As we expand our womens health services across the health system, the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, is seeking dynamic BC/BE Obstetricians for unique opportunities to join select practices on Long Island. We are currently looking for an additional obstetrician to join a practice with 4 Obstetricians and 2 Womens Health Nurse Practitioners. The staff admits to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, NY, a 341-bed tertiary facility with 2,900 deliveries per year.



Bay Shore is approximately 40 miles from NYC, on the South Shore of Long Island along the Great South Bay. This 150 year old community boasts an abundance of outdoor and cultural activities, as well as easy access to NYC. The Long Island Press recently named Bay Shore the Restaurant Mecca of the South Shore. With easy access to the Atlantic Ocean, Fire Island and one of the Top 10 Wine Regions in the World on Long Islands East End, this area has something to offer for everyone.



We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. An academic appointment with the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine is commensurate with credentials and experience.
