Job Description

Mid-Valley Hospital located in the sunny Okanogan has a current position open for a physician to join the Emergency Department. Mid-Valley is a 25 bed critical access hospital with a Trauma Level IV designation that serves the Okanogan Valley and the communities of Omak and Okanogan. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or BC/BE in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with an ATLS certification. The ER at Mid-Valley has 8400 visits per year. The physicians will work 14 to 16 shifts per month. Each shift is 12 hours starting at 8 am and 8 pm. Mid-Valley's average daily inpatient census is 7. There are 3 surgery suites and the hospital employees both General Surgeons and Orthopedic Surgeons. A stationary MRI unit is being installed and is scheduled to be complete at the end of October 2016. The ER was completely rebuilt and designed with employee input in 2010 and has 8 rooms.
