We are seeking a Family Medicine physician to establish a busy practice. The practice will be conveniently located within 1 mile of the hospital allowing patients easy access to a variety of diagnostic ancillary services. The growing demand for primary health care services with an aging population and combined service area of 250,000 is evident. The median age is 40, with growth in the 65+ segment. The aging population suffers from multiple comorbidities and requires more than average health care services. The hospital is a full service acute care facility with all specialties offered with the exception of neurosurgery, transplant surgery and open-heart surgery. There is a robust hospitalists program that has been in place for 8 years with 6 hospitalists. We are one of the busiest level III trauma centers in the country with about 50,000 ED visits per year.
