Family Medicine Residency Program Core Faculty

Requirements:
Family medicine physician certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Must devote 24 hours per week to residency program, including supervising residents in clinic, teaching, and administrative time. The remainder of the week spent in direct patient care.

Description:
The Baton Rouge General Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a core family medicine physician faculty member (MD or DO). Ideal candidates will have skills in full-spectrum of family medicine, including a strong background in womens health and teaching. Faculty must regularly participate in didactics, rounds, journal clubs, and scholarly activity.

Baton Rouge Generals Family Medicine Residency Program is dedicated to addressing the health care needs of Louisiana by training new family physicians, contributing to the body of knowledge of family medicine and providing quality health services to the community. The program places an emphasis on residents becoming ambulatory care experts and trains residents in effective collaboration with other clinical disciplines and segments of the community. With a focus on prevention, health education and psychosocial concerns, the program is committed to developing health care providers who collaborate with families in preserving and enhancing complete wellness.
