Job Description

A Board Certified / Board Eligible Gastroenterologist is needed for our hospital based, physician employed multi-specialty medical group just 60 to 90 miles north of New York City. The right candidate will be well trained in all aspects of endoscopic procedure performance including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS & Capsule. Out-patient clinic and in-patient consultation will be a component of the work flows for this position. The right provider will enjoy newly constructed facilities across two campus' within 30 minutes of each other. The new service line being created could afford itself the opportunity for leadership. Six (6) existing residency programs are up and running allowing for the chance to teach. We are affiliated with the new Touro Medical College in Middletown, NY, an Osteopathic training school. Orange Regional & Catskill Regional Medical Groups consist of 120+ providers across a varied mix of specialties working at Orange Regional Medical Center, a new 383-bed hospital in Middletown, NY and Catskill Regional Medical Center, a 218-bed facility just outside Monticello, NY. Both facilities and the Medical Group are members of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System.

* MD / DO from an accredited institution
* Board Certified / Board Eligible in G.I. within 5 years of end of training
* New York State Medical License
* Unrestricted and Active DEA
* BLS required, ACLS preferred
* 3 years experience in procedure performance
