Job Description

NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group, the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional Endocrinologist to join the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases.


The successful candidate will have completed an Endocrinology fellowship and be board certified or eligible for certification by the ABIM in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Academic appointment to the University of Chicago is available to qualified candidates. This will be a full-time, non-tenured position with salary and academic rank to be determined by candidates qualifications. The position includes clinical care of patients, education of medical students/residents and clinical research.


The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at NorthShore University HealthSystem provides consultative services, diagnosis and management of diseases of the endocrine system in adults. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to diabetes treatment and treat patients with type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and those requiring insulin pumps. Our staff consists of physicians, nurses, dieticians and certified diabetes educators who work together to provide a team approach to diabetes management.
